Nomis07
I think you'd have to pay to download it from steam, but i'm not sure. You could buy an external hard drive and install it onto that, then just switch it from machine to machine.

CraigW
Hi Mike If you activated it through steam you can download it again from Steam. I did the same thing onto my laptop last week.
Nomis07
Hi Mike Yes you can download it from Steam. I did the same thing onto my laptop last week. Wouldn't he have to pay for it? He already has it on disc.

Mike7077
You weren't saying that last night when you were begging for more and I just wanted to watch This Week. Andrew Neil 1-0 Nomis07.
Nomis07
I think so. On 08, my wife's laptop was full of stuff and not enough space to install it, so I used an external drive and just hooked up the usb when I wanted to use it.
Nomis07
I hate Andrew Neil, his cheeks look like bits of ham hanging on a face. You're right, I was begging for more, more Mike0077 ZING
Mike7077
You hate Andrew Neil because he is an existing entity. Admit it.

Nomis07
You should know by now that I don't need a reason to hate anyone and hate everyone equally. Anyway, this will get closed if we continue this, and I don't think Uber Mike has had his question answered properly. How does Steam work? Do you download the game and then pay for authentication? Could he download it and then enter his code from his CD and not have to pay?
