xenardo
Hey people, I was using PSP firmware 3.71 M33-4 but I recently upgraded my firmware to the latest version of 5.00 M33-3. Now whenever I created any games, saved these games and tried loading them while restart FMH, it says "Load Game failed". Was this problem caused by version incompatibilities? ... Thanks. mbchuz
Sounds like it if that's all you changed. Just to clarify- are new save games unloadable, or only the old save games created on 3.71m33? You could always downgrade...
jamesWHUFC
Im not sure what your problem is. Saves on newer firmwares are incompatible with some older firmwares, not vice versa. Can you create a game, save it and load it on 5.00m33.
xenardo
My old saves are corrupted, when I tried to load them. And as for your 2nd question jamesWHUFC, I can create a game. Save a game. But it wont load on 5.00m33. It gives an error, "Load Game failed".
jamesWHUFC
I would downgrade back then and try and load them again. Could be a firmware issue.
xenardo
How do you downgrade? Sorry for so many questions mate, i'm not really very good with PSPs. I've tried searching some forums for answers and they said you can't really downgrade your firmware version if it's over a certain version (which is 3.50+, IIRC). I'm not too sure whether their speaking the truth then.
jamesWHUFC
If you are on m33 firmwae then you can downgrade. Use Pandoras Battery.

LSD
This is very strange... Try downloading OFW5.02 and see if that solves the problem?
SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted November 26, 2008 SI Staff Share Posted November 26, 2008 I was using PSP firmware 3.71 M33-4 but I recently upgraded my firmware to the latest version of 5.00 M33-3. This appears to be an unofficial firmware version - please be aware that using such firmware can cause problems when running programs. (because its an unofficial version its not possible for us to support it sorry - I would suggest putting a Sony firmware version on your PSP)
