I want to buy a player who already played in the UEFA cup; and was wondering if he would be cup tied for my champions league squad. In other words would he be cup tied if he joined my team in the january window. An example in real life was when Anelka joined chelsea after playing UEFA with bolton yet he was allowed to play champions league.
