avarchillion
Well, I was happy to find out, that, after patching, the Data Editor finally worked. This gave me hope, that the problems with fm where solved. So I tried to start the game: It loaded the startingvideos and then PENG crashed. Before patching I was able to play the game.... Here are my hardware/system stats: MacBook Pro 2GHz Intel 1 Gb RAM Radeon X1600 graphic card System: MacOS X 10.4.11 Here the the crashlog: Date/Time: 2008-11-19 17:32:17.211 +0100 OS Version: 10.4.11 (Build 8S2167) Report Version: 4 Command: fm Path: /Volumes/Alles Weitere/Football Manager 2009/fm.app/Contents/MacOS/fm Parent: WindowServer [65] Version: 9 . 1 (9 . 1 . 0 f 26708) PID: 688 Thread: Unknown Link (dyld) error: Symbol not found: _chmod$UNIX2003 Referenced from: /Volumes/Alles Weitere/Football Manager 2009/fm.app/Contents/MacOS/fm Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib Model: MacBookPro1,1, BootROM MBP11.0055.B08, 2 processors, Intel Core Duo, 2 GHz, 1 GB Graphics: ATI Radeon X1600, ATY,RadeonX1600, PCIe, 256 MB Memory Module: BANK 1/DIMM1, 1 GB, DDR2 SDRAM, 667 MHz AirPort: spairport_wireless_card_type_airport_extreme (0x168C, 0x86), 1.4.4 Bluetooth: Version 1.9.5f4, 2 service, 1 devices, 1 incoming serial ports Serial ATA Device: ST9100824AS, 93.16 GB Parallel ATA Device: MATSHITADVD-R UJ-857, 2.12 GB USB Device: Built-in iSight, Micron, Up to 480 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: iPod, Apple, Up to 480 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: Apple Internal Keyboard / Trackpad, Apple Computer, Up to 12 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: IR Receiver, Apple Computer, Inc., Up to 12 Mb/sec, 500 mA USB Device: Bluetooth USB Host Controller, Apple, Inc., Up to 12 Mb/sec, 500 mA it seems that there is a library missing or wrongly linked :libSystem.B.dylib. feedthegoat
Are you using Tiger? As I have read that there is an issue with people using this, I don't really know enough about Macs to be able to help, but I have read in another thread about this problem. ambolt
Seems that this is a Tiger issue so far. If I were you I'd really upgrade to Leopard, and possibly some more RAM as well.
avarchillion
Are you using Tiger? As I have read that there is an issue with people using this. I wrote that I used MacOS X 10.4.11 (this means Tiger^^). And well, before patching I was able to play the game and I did. I was just starting the Bundesliga season as manager of the FC Bayern München. Avarchillion

Well, the computer isn't mine so I can't just upgrade the system. Avarchillion
