Jakejenkz
Have you tried any of the other options, saving the game in advance and seeing if the other options work?
Neji
If you still cannot get it to continue, you could try holidaying past it. It may hinder the final choice though.

Neji
Thanks but ive tried both expectation options and nothing happens and when I click on go on holiday and 'continue' it goes back to the message?? :S You don't need to click continue. When you pres go on holiday it should bring a box up. Go on holiday for one day and press ok.
DooMUK
Ok, I did this and can continue but now it wont say (only auto save) and keeps changing the currency to Albanien Lek. This is why I bought an XBOX!

Neji
I'm not sure why this is or how to solve it, but it may be worth trying out the patch if you haven't already.
DooMUK
I'm not sure why this is or how to solve it, but it may be worth trying out the patch if you haven't already. I was using 9.2.0 already. Gutted
Neji
In that case, make a thread in the bugs forum and see if you get any help.
Neji
I did a search for this but unfortauntely cannot find a solution except for clearing the cache, which didn't work for everyone. Try the following if that doesn't work, I can think of one other solution. From the posts I found, it seems that this is a 9.2.0 problem, so you could revert back to 9.1.0 and it should play fine. It's not ideal, of course but at least you get to play your game. If you do decide to go back you would need to uninstall your game and install it again. Also, any save games from 9.2.0 wont work on 9.1.0 so you would have to start a new game. Do you have any third party skins or graphics installed?Have you tried deleting your cache? How to delete your Cache files First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders. Go to My Computer and at the top select 'Tools' the 'Folder Options'. The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders' Windows XP: 1. Open “My Computer” 2. Navigate to : "C: Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\ 3. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder. 4. Delete the “Football Manager 2009” Folder. Wndows Vista: 1. Click “Start” 2. Click your username on the start Menu 3. Click on “AppData” and then “Roaming” 4. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder 5. Delete the “Football Manager 2009” Folder. Mac OSX 1. Open Finder. 2. Select <User> 3. Navigate to Library\Caches\Sports Interactive 4. Remove the “Football Manager XX” Folder.
