bismarcks
Does anyone know what, if any, DRM (Digital Rights Management) Football Manager 2009 will use? Reason for asking is due to all the controversy surrounding alot of recent games (particularly EA's). Just take a look at the amazon.co.uk reviews for Spore if you do not know what I am talking about. i.e. the secuROM issues. Basically, like many other people I am reluctant to purchase a game if it is going to put spyware/malware onto my PC which compromises the working and security of the machine itself. I am most likely going to purchase this game, but I just wish to clarify that FM2009 will not be using any DRM such as secuROM. Any sensible responses would be very much appreciated. feedthegoat
I may be wrong, but don't they use something like Safedisk? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Securom In fact seems as though EA may be facing a lawsuit of the SecuRom debacle, although being Wiki this may not be too reliable. DietSpam
Miles said that for as long as he is at SI, they will never use DRM. Can't get any clearer than that.
