Is it possible - and if so, how? - to use training schedules & shortlist from one save in another game?

Sure. Just export them from one game, and import them in the other.

I actually think that the tactics are automatically in all other games you play, when you look under "Archived tactics" on the tactics screen.

To export a shortlist, just click the "shortlist button" in the bottom right corner (location might be elsewhere on other skins) of the shortlist you wanna export. Click "export" and call it what you like. In the other game you want your shortlist imported to, simply do the same but click "import shortlist" instead of export.
