Match scheduling in multiplayer

Now, first off I know there is a multiplayer forum but there doesn't seem to be happening much there and my particular gripe here has to do with the general workings of the game anyway, I'd say (also, searching didn't help me but I admit I'm not the greatest searcher!). But of course, feel free to move the thread, admins.

Here's the thing: we are four friends who have been playing FM for many years - two play in Italy and the other two in Spain. The trouble now is that Spanish games usually start later than Italian ones so we're rarely playing simultaneously all four. In other words, the game takes TWICE as long as it could - now, I appreciate the dedication to realism this shows but isn't there a way to make all multiplayer games take place at the same time if they're scheduled for the same day? Frankly, it adds nothing to the game per se, only frustation with my slow-playing friends!

I would really, really appreciate it if that become an option/was corrected in FM09!

I don't think there's any workaround for your problem, unfortunately.

Why don't you all play in the same league, from personal experience it is much better. But i don't think there is anything you can do for your problem.
