jjsreading1
with a good start to friendlys with 2 wins and a draw the season looked bright for The Allstars but after a quick 3rd round exit in the league cup at the hands of West Brom and with the team failing to win in the league things started to look bad for them after the first 2 months of the league season the team had achieved the following: 3 wins 3 draws 2 losses this put them in around 7th - 8th
jjsreading1
over the next 3 months the Allstars played 12 league matches and were battling to try and stay in contention with Dynamo Zucabrest who were racing away the team achieved the following between Oct - December: 8 wins 1 draw 3 loss JJS moved up to second and only 2 points behind Dynamo Zucabrest and the first game of the new year brought a top of the table clash
jjsreading1
JJS Allstars shot to the top as they beat Dynamo Zucabrest 3-0 and followed that with a convincing 4-0 fa cup 3rd round win over AFC Wimbledon (Woo Hoo lol) Allstars league stats between Jan - Feb: 3 wins 1 draw 2 losses those 2 losses were enough to drop them off the top but it wasnt Dynamo Zucabrest who overtook them it was Epworth Town who had been quietly stringing together some good results but JJS manged to stay in second and also qualified for the quarter finals of the fa cup after beat sheffield utd 3-1 in round 4 and Drunken Yobs 2-1 in round
jjsreading1
with the title race looking as if it was going down to the wire the Allstars and Epworth Town were getting the same results (ie. if one draws the other draws) both teams were still in the fa cup and epworth are 2 points clear and have a much superior goal difference JJS managed to beat wolves 4-1 in the quarters finals of the fa cup and Trollz Utd 3-1 in the semis to book a place in th final against ... ...Epworth Town these are the league stats for JJS between march - april 8 wins 2 draws 0 losses this unbeaten streak contained a 1-0 victory over Epworth Town and put JJS back in the driving seat and after their defeat Epworth's results started to fade and JJS managed to be 6 points clear with 2 to go it was not over yet ! jjsreading1
the final few matches could see 2 teams who have the chance of doing the double but which way would the trophies go??? MJGB Allstars gave Epworth a fighting chance as they ended JJS Allstars' 15 game unbeaten streak with a 2-0 win but Epworth lost 1-0 to PJ's Elite handing the title to JJS Allstars with a game to spare the final league match of the season saw JJS extend their winning marging to 8 points with a 4-0 win against Drunken Yobs but the title race had been a lot closer than it looked but on with the FA Cup as Epworth were playing for revenge and glory as they faced the team that had beaten the home and away 1-0 wayne rooneys early strike was the only goal of the game in quite a boring fa cup final but nevertheless JJS had the fa cup to go with their premier league title so thats the end of the season i will post a partial league table to see relegated teams ect.
