opul Posted August 27, 2008 Share Posted August 27, 2008 I had an affiliation with a German club and got them promoted one league and doing quite well in the 3rd german division or something like that. I send out 4 players every season (that's the limit), but never had a friendly with them. Now after many years of success the affiliation got cancelled with the argumentation that it has not been used properly. This happened at the end of the first season that I upgraded from 8.01 to 8.02. The club did not get promoted that season, so that cnanot be a reason for it. I was quite happy with that club and haven't found an appropriate substitute for my players within the next half dozen feeder club requests, therefore I am a bit annoyed I am pretty sure that friendlies are not the key to those affiliates, since usually they get cancelled if no players are sent out on loan for a few years.
