welshy2686 Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Hi i need some help i've just recently bought a new laptop and i'm trying to install FM 2008 however everytime i do so it comes up with an error message "FM.exe is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error,try installing the program again using the orignal installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support". i'm using vista and it is the orignal CD. any idea's. thanks in advance. backpackant Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 First, have you logged on to Microsoft for any Vista updates? I had to do that first before I installed FM08. If you've done that and it doesn't work, there's a list of common problems in the bugs forum. If it's not on there it's worth asking the question.
