Worldclass
Whats the difference between time wasting and tempo?
Guest
Time wasting is simply using stalling tactics to either stop the flow of the game or slow down the restart when the ball goes out of play. Tempo should be all about the pace of player movement, the directness of passes & patience in the attacking third. I am however yet to see any perceptible difference in playing style when adjusting the tempo slider & I'm still not entirely happy with the way time-wasting works. Giggsidan
You can somewhat see tempo having an effect when the game is being played. Time wasting though, I've never seen any effect at all, mostly because I only show key highlights and employ it late on in a game. More often than not, if a highlight is going to show up, it'll be the opposition scoring or me hitting the post 5 times, and not my winger holding onto the ball by the corner flag. Sussex Hammer
Must confess I see very little difference in tempo. I can play first notched of mixed passing and first notch of normal tempo and at times it seems as quick as a quick tempo with direct passing.
