Inno17
I am Man City and have just started my 2nd season. At the end of Season 1 all except a few of my staff contracts expired and all except a few of my staff left the club. This came as a surprise, I'm aware that when contracts expire people will leave, that's fine, but I thought my Assistant Manager (Brian Kidd) was supposed to 're-new Staff contracts' or am I just imagining that? On that point how can I see exactly what my Assistant Manager is assigned to do 'Duties'? Moving on, I now have no staff and can't remember what Staff I actually had.... What is the Ideal amount of the following to have in the 'Backroom'? First Team Coach Coach GoalKeeper Coach Fitness Coach Youth Coach Physio Scout Finally, does anybody have any recommendations for any of the above? Thank you in advance for any help.. Lawteo
First thing first: If you are Man City = you have no problems with $$$ Meaning, employ as many Coaches, Physios and Scouts you can have. As for Coaches / First Team Coaches / Youth Coaches I tend to fill up the Coaches first as they they provide training for BOTH First Team and Reserve Team Once I fill them up, I would allocate the remaining slots to Youth Coaches if I have need for them
Inno17
Thanks Lawteo, yeah got loads of $$$. I've always just stuck with Staff provided in the past and replaced as they've left so please excuse my ignorance.... When 'filling' them up, do I just set the Job Description when offering a contract to the Job role I want them to 'fill up'? How do I find out how many 'spaces' I have? Lawteo
Urmm.....I just keep employing as many as possible Go to your Training Schedule and you can see all the different schedules there. Fill them up with coaches excelling in different positions (for example, employ 2 fitness coach, 1 for Strength and 1 for Aerobic......2 for Goalkeeping; 1 for Shot stopping etc etc After that, go for the other categories like Ball Control, Attacking, Defending etc etc until you have coaches there (minimum 4 stars in each category would be the bare minimum for a club like Man City) If you go to the online Manual ingame, U will be able to find which stats is needed for eahc category's coach in section 9.
vurogj
I use this coach calculator to see what star level a coach will have before I hire him, then fill up with 2 GK coaches, 2 fitness coaches and 5 specialists (one for each category). These all do ONE and one ONLY type of training each. As you are Man City, you should have ample space for this, and if you really feel you need more, get some Mental/Man Managment/Motivators to work on ALL types to help with morale. If they have high working with youngsters stat, make them youth coaches (but be prepared to pay the earth for them), if not, 1st team. EDIT : To find out how many you are allowed of each type, go to the boardroom screen, it's in the bottom left.
jimmyt86
signing up as many coaches may not be as easy as before the update due to only being allowed to sign certain amounts of coaches, 1st team coaches etc.
