AussieDave
Help me out here fellas, Long time FM player. Started with CM 4 and since then always used the 2D engine, even with the 3D ones out. I was chatting with my mate about it and we were like "it's 2D...but the ball feels 3D when there are long passes in the air" Can someone please explain to me how the ball looks 3D even though it's really 2D? I can see that the ball gets larger as it gets higher but it also seems to arc or something? Sorry...I have had several beers but this was eating away at me so I thought I had to post! SCIAG
There might be changes to the size of the shadow as well?
AussieDave
hmmm interesting. does the ball travel in a straight line (if it has been kicked straight, not on a curve that is) or is there some sort of like a fish-eye projection thing going on? Nocuous
I used to love it how big the ball expand to in the old CM4 match engine when a player chipped the keeper.
AussieDave
Pretty sure it still gets pretty big?
