Does the scouts of my club affect which players show up in the player search?

Being the manager of Aston Villa, I noticed that most of the players I find in the Player Search function were from the UK area, Italian or French. Now this seems to be the knowledge of my scouts too.

I am not complaining, it is sort of realistic, but before hiring new scouts and sending them around the world to gain more knowledge, I wish to know if it will have any impact on the Player Search.

I mean, if I can only find regens from these three countries in the search, it will be hard to find the good ones.

yup, as far as I remember, it does affect the players that show up. I think it is governed by your knowledge base, from your club, scouts, other staff, and feeder clubs..
