A thread praising steam activation.

Ok after reading all the people complaining about having to activate on steam I would like to say what a great idea I think it is. Makes it easier to download and play on any PC you want and it only needs activating once. Little down side is that if you want to play on a computer with no internet access you are stuffed as you need to download steam to get the game on that pc to start with. But the main thing I like is that I think it will stop people running illegal copies, yes I am sure that a crack will come out that finds a way around it eventually but I personally know 2 people who have bought FM12 this year that ran cracked versions of fm11 last year so I think this is the way forward and hopefully will ensure that the FM series continues. I would hate FM to end up finishing like Eastside Hockey Manager did, that was a great game but SI stopped making it because of piracy.

People moaning because they cant run steam at work......... GET SOME WORK DONE THEN!!!!
