Guest Portosummaga11
On most games I play, my teams always suffer a post-Christmas blip and manage to go from the top of the table, to somewhere in the middle. For example, my Cardiff team went from challenging for 1st in the Championship, to finishing 10th. I don't know why this was, everybody was fit (I don't play anybody with a condition <90%) and all of a sudden we just couldn't win games. Anybody suffered this, or have any tips to help sort it out? Thanks in advance.
robertcornell68
Sounds like overconfidence. Overconfident players get arrogant and make stupid mistakes. Morale needs to be balanced, not maxed out. Use pressurising team talks, player chats and press conferences when you're doing well. When things are going wrong, do the opposite. Lazaru5
I think it's actually the opposite to over-confidence, it sounds more like too much expectation than your players can handle - try using "no pressure" or "pressure is off" type team-talks.
