I've seached all over the internet for a Genie Scout for Mac which is also compatible with 11.3 patch

Did you read the official site for Genie Scout?

As mentioned, Genie Scout 2011 works under Mac if set up with WineBottler (Download link), which is a free program. It takes about 5 minutes to set up, but you have to do 1-2 things right during installation so here's a quick guide:

Step 1

Open WineBottler and select "Create Custom Prefixes", then press "select File" and select the Genie Scout installer ".exe"-file from where you unpacked it to. Under "prefix template" be sure you have selected "new prefix". It should look like this:

Press "Install", enter a name and select the location for the app that WineBottler will create, press "Save" and the WineBottler install window will start working.

Step 3

Let it work until the Genie Scout Setup window appears, it shouldn't take more than about half a minute. Press "Next" through the different options, until you get the "Install" button and let it install.

IMPORTANT: When it's done installing untick "Launch Application" before pressing "Finish".

Step 4

The WineBottler install window will prompt you to "Select Startfile". It's set to "iexplore.exe" by default, instead choose "FMGenieScout.exe" from the list and press OK. Close WineBottler and open the app that you created. You will probably get an error message stating that the program is corrupted and you should download the correct version from fmscout.com. Press OK and the program will launch and work just fine.

Notes:

1) Genie Scout comes up with the error message after communicating with the Genie Scout website, if you block the program with Little Snitch it won't come up with the error message, but I don't know if this interferes with the ads in the program so it's not recommended to do so. It seems that it's this error message or the fact that the Genie Scout installation package seems to point towards iexplore.exe as the main executable that could be the problem when trying to run with CrossOver or DarWine.

2) If Genie Scout hangs when reaching "Loading Language Data" or doesn't launch at all, make sure to close down X11 and all assorted background processes before you launch the app again. In Activity Monitor you can sort the background processes by PID and they will usually be those with higher numbers. You will have to close down all files with names such as "wine", "Xquartz", "wineserver" "xinit" etc. There's usually about 10 processes running in the background that aren't always closed down properly and closing them all manually is a drag, but it beats having to reboot the computer to get it to work again.

3) Some people have problems with not having the correct options in the drop-down menu in step 4. This standalone app might solve your problem, just download, unzip and launch:
