It was when Alex McLeish left Birmingham City to join Aston Villa amid angry scenes. So chaps, have any one in Football Manager crossed the divide be it Celtic to Rangers, Boca Juniors to River Plate, Everton to Liverpool, Benfica to Sporting or vice versa etc? I usually stay at clubs for at least 3 seasons, so by that time, I've usually become too attached to a club to go to their most hated rivals.
