Fazz28
So last season i was afc wimbledon in the conference, i won it in the end but in january i was struggleing for goals a bit so i signed Rhys Murphy on loan from arsenal, his first 4 appearances were all cup goals and he scored 5 goals in them 4 games, then he got injured with a torn calf muscle and i was advised to send him back so i did. Then at the start of the next season in league 2 i signed him again on a year long deal, he makes his first 5 league appearences, scoring 5 goals, then next... yep you guesed it getting injured with a broken ankle. Im struggling at the bottom end of league 2 and having rhys around would really boost our chances of survial but im terrified once i get him back to full fitness injury will strike again! Nottingham Forest
Instead of playing him straight away. Play him in a few reserve games for 20/30 minutes. Then do that in the first team as well. Also have a look at the training categories and see if you can build him up a bit.
Fazz28
thanks for the advice! i placed him in the reserves until match fit and changed his training to low stamina work, he played 2 or 3 sub appearances in the res's then i moved him back into the firsts, he's just made his first start after making 3 sub appearances, he lasted 66 mins before his fitness dropped to 34 so i took him off, hopefully wont be long before he starts bagging again!
