Joseph Davis
Just started playing a new game on the 11.3 patch as Liverpool and Andy Carroll has taken 22 games (19 starts & 3 sub appearances) yes TWENTY TWO games to get off the mark. I was just wondering if anyone can remember one of their strikers taking so long to get off the mark or having such a dry patch during the season? HoroHoro
Dirk Kuyt in real life had a long goal drought a couple of season ago so he was moved to RMF. Only this season he's moved back to striker and scoring some.
Braundjoh
I was expecting this to be a rage thread when I saw the capitals was pleasantly surprised. I tend to have "scoring droughts" quite often with numerous players, but the vast majority of these are off the bench or strikers playing right midfield or something of that nature. Also, I play a fair amount of lower league football on this years FM, so it's natural for some of the players to lose confidence and fail miserably. That said, I can't remember any droughts of more than 10 hours or so at any of my clubs.
athos
Rooney loves to have goal droughts in my game, but the nice thing is he tends to end them in important matches like the derbies.
