Soccer Manager
I wanted to sign a player for my debt-ridden Salisbury team. The board had put a restriction on the salary I could offer a player - $800 a week and the player wanted $1800. (I was already over the wage limit). So what the heck - I went into the board room and asked if they would give a me a little bit more in wages so I could sign players - and low and behold they said they agreed with me and did it! Back into negotiations - and offered the guy $1800/wk and signed him. For the first time in football manager history, the board is no longer a bunch of complete greedy, unhelpful bums. MP40
I've noticed the board are quite willing with demands.
scholes=legend
I've noticed the board are quite willing with demands. I would say it was depending on the chairman. The first 5 years in my Spurs save everytime i asked Levy for anything he would never say no, then i got a new chairman and couldn't even asked for anything.
