How do you get reserve teams playing

My first post - as I couldn't find the answer on the forum... :-)

I'm currently managing Inter, but greatly annoyed (probably on myself...) that somehow my reserves are not playing matches. Neither are any other reserves, so it's probably a case of me having chosen something wrong or a little to few leagues at setting up the game. I'm currently playing with with the two highest leagues in Italy, England and Spain.

I suppose it is to late now to get the reserves active, but for another game, then how do I ensure that my reserves are "activated" and set up to be playing regularily? :o

I dont think Italian teams actually have reserve leagues anymore in real life, but not 100%

On Italy there isn't a reserve league.. so the workaround is to schedule friendlies against other reserve teams to keep match fitness up for subs and reserves..

I had Albinoleffe bookmarked so i could schedule friendlies against their reserve team faster.. it's really boring but it's worth it to keep a squad fit, i just schedule the friendlies every month.

Also, the under 20s can pick two over age players per game
