FM11: Crooked Vulture Tactic :

Recommended Posts

Ive been using the following tactic in FM11, to some success. It could be described as an asymmetrical 442 or even a 451.

I have completely revamped an Inter Milan side with good young players and am still winning Seria A with ease. The following is a list of players and their roles:

Goalkeeper - defend (Cesar)

Left Back - Wing back - support (Criscito / Contreao)

Right Wing back - Support (Maicon / Santon)

Right Centre Back - Stopper (Sakho / Fazio)

Left Centre Back - Cover (Zapata)

Defensive Midfielder - Defend (Khedira / Inler)

Central Midfielder - Advanced playmaker - Support (Pjanic / Hernanes)

Left Midfielder - Winger - Attack (Jovetic / Hazard)

Attacking Midfielder Centre - Attack (Hamsik / Paolo Henrigue Ganso)

Right Attacking Midfielder - Inside Forward - Attack (Douglas Costa / Alexis Sanchez

Striker - Complete Forward - Attack (Babacar / Huntelaar)

The basic idea behind the tactic is to attack the opposition at their weakest points. You have a threat out wide, a threat between the centre backs and full backs, a creative force in midfield spraying balls around and threading in through balls. An attacker driving at the defence from deep. All this is achieved without compromising defensive stability.

Was just looking for feedback and advice on ways in which this tactic can be improved?
