tayto
Ok, I'm sure this has probably been asked before and I might get flamed here but.... I'm manager at FC Groningen in Holland. I've been there 2 seasons, first season won the domestic cup, 2nd season the league (no small thanks to Piscu and Zezinho:p). My reputation is Continental. So now I'm bored of them, think I'll apply for Birmingham who have just been relegated to the Championship. Don't get it. Apply for Burnley and Blackpool in the Championship, no joy. Then I apply at AC Ajaccio, who have just been relegated out of France Ligue 2....... a manager with a regional reputation gets the job! Someone want to let me know wtf? I tried declaring interest in Burnely and Blackpool, chairman says "We'd be foolish not to consider a manger of his stature....bla bla bla", but I don't get the job. I don't get this. phnompenhandy
Look at your manger's contract. Is it a long one? The other clubs may be unwilling to pay the compensation.
robertcornell68
As #2, lower division clubs can't afford to buy out your contract but if you quit you'll be a freebie. and they'll probably give you the job.
