Valix
Not sure if there's a more "effective" forum to pose this question in but here goes. How does a "club" attain scouting knowledge? I know scouts gain it by scouting obviously and the club uses that knowledge while the said scout is in their employ. However, some clubs have knowledge of certain locales and the retainer of that information is listed as the club itself. Will that ever go away or can it grow? Is there anything I can do to alter it in any way. Also, when a scout leaves a club, does the scout take all their knowledge with them or is there any residual knowledge left with the club? P.S I said 'knowledge' in my head so many times now it has lost all meaning.
naz250
Having international feeder clubs increases scouting knowledge in those countries.
underwater sunlight
assigning scouts to countries rather than regions speeds up their knowledge as it involves less travelling, but it is worth having a few scouting different regions. don't bother scouting 'world' as you will never build up your knowledge levels. look for scouts who already have good knowledge of countries and get as many parent and feeder clubs as you can
