Dar2000
'Tactical blunder ends unbeaten run' is a news item that is displayed after losing a game following a change in formation. I can't help but ask the question of whether this news item is triggered by the result of the match or if the result of the match is triggered by the need for the game to use the news item? How is it coded? I recently switched to 4-4-2 home to a newly promoted side who were struggling for form, we were flying and had 2 strikers in great form so wanted to use them both. I said to myself I bet if I switch to 4-4-2 the 'tactical blunder' news item will rear it's ugly head, and low and behold! Hammered them in every stat but the main one! Cam69r
Funnily enough i have always wondered this too but didn't want to ask because of the inevitable, "of course the tactic change didn't trigger your loss, the AI doesn't cheat" replies. stonegate
I don't think that the game wanted to make the statement, but there are definitely cycles in the game where experienced players just know what's going to happen nest.
