I've pre-ordered the retail version of FM 2011 and I'm interested in the features that Steam offer. What are the main advantages of using Steam? Will it be possible to link the retail version to Steam and enjoy all the features that steam offers? Such as automatic updates, achievements, etc? I'm also a mac user and I want to be able to play a network game with a friend who uses a PC. Firstly, is this possible to play cross-platform?
