GioGio85
Clubs just looking for the best deal for themselves. Sometimes other teams bid the asking price, so the selling club has nothing to lose in starting a "bidding war" and increasing the price....id do the same if I wasnt desperate to sell the player! Magicz
If you knew that teams were interested in a player of yours and you felt that you could exploit them (because the team interested are newly promoted) then would you push the price up? I know I would.

Chac
Maybe a rivalry issue perhaps? or their coach doesn't like you or they don't wan t to sell to a team in same legue.
ugen64
I've noticed that if a team accepts a bid for a player (say, 5 million), then someone else tries to bid the same amount for him, they'll ask for more to try to create a bidding war, and potentially get more money.
