Kenny O Brien
Hi all, I previously posed along the same lines as above but that related to League One. I am now in Championship with AFC Wimbledon in season 2020/2021 and despite having a stadium of only 6,500 (increased to 16,500 since October 2020) I have over £42m in the bank. Surely a record? Worse thing is that I didn't set out to do this, e.g. get free players and sell them on... just I bought lots of young players and had to sell a lot (they were unhappy) or sold players for huge fees (with sell on clauses). Also I spent £8.5m on a 17 year old so I am not completely miserly! (funny cos my Dealing with Finances is only 17 out of 20!)
Richie Brill
Highest I've personally seen was when I was managing Southampton and I had 32m in the bank I think it was, managed to sell Lambert on for 7.5m I think which I felt was a great piece of business at the time as I managed to get someone in who was better for 2m lol
Nottingham Forest
£40m with Scunthorpe. I only signed one player for a fee and that was Leigh Griffiths for a £160k. He was amazing. The best deal I did was signing this Norweigan player on a free in January. He didnt play to good so in the summer I sold him for £4.9m.
