Scouting Regions/countries

Hi guys

im in the coca cola league 1 with Stevenage Borough and i was wanting to scout players in spain argentina etc

but i am not aloud to, i have a scout with great info in the likes of spain but i dont no why i am not getting to scout there

i am sure there is a perfectly normal reason for this so can somebody enlighten me

you cant scout there as your board wont allow you to. Go to your board summary screen and have a look and see where your scouts are allowed to travel. As your in league 1 I would imagine there are restirctions.

i take it when i get to the premiership i will be able to scout spain etc

Its annoying isnt it, but realistic I guess. I think its just that league 1 clubs cant afford to have their scouts travelling all over the globe. The higher up the ladder you go and the more money you get the fewer restrictions.

You can always take players from spain etc. and the other leagues you cant scout on trial.

At league 1 I would look for players who are not playing in the top teams reserve and youth teams. Ask to take them on trial and if they accept you can then see if you want to make a bid for him!

its the first time i have ruffed it with a lower league team

lol I think its definatly more fun in the long run. Makes it more rewarding when you find a gem of a player

It's worse when the board won't allow you to scout any nations... then you can't even get a scout at all, so you can't scout your home nation, your opponents, or youngsters at the beginning of a season. Have to manually point your asst man/coaches to players.

They better fix that in FM11 since they just changed it in 10.3
