Work Pemit Problem

Hi I am playing on Football Manager 2009 and managing Chelsea. I signed someone called Alex Teixiera on deadline day and even though he signed it says Wp next to his name which obviously means Work permit. But I can't loan him out to my feeder club Westerlo because it is outside the transfer window. Does this mean I can't play him, I assume? Also can't he play in the U18's or reserves?

No, you can't play him at all. You'll have to wait for the transfer window and then loan him out.

Yeah you need to loan him out, but i think he may be able to play in reserve games (unsure about that). If you have a work permit club you could send him there, so that he gets his work permit quicker

Yh unfortunatly you cant loan him out until the window re-opens. In regards to what Hunt said I dont think resreves games count. I think its just internationals and playing in nations like Belgium. Even playing in internationals, the international side has to be in the top 75 (i think of international sides and they also have to pay a certain percentage of games).
