ronaldo_rooney
I don't know weather or not to replace my captain. He is getting on abit (35) and is nolonger first choice, infact he will not be playing many games at all this season. However, he has been at my club for a long time and has been an integral part of the team. So guys, is it better to replace him with a younger, better player, with the risk of upsetting the squad harmony but someone who is playing week in, week out, grabbing the headlines... ...or, the old reliable head, respected and liked by all, won every trophy the world has to offer, but sadly can nolonger play at the highest level?:confused::confused:
jod123
I'd probably leave him but I have found anyway that replacing the captain generally does not cause problems as long as you choose a good captain to replace them with.
ronaldo_rooney
Thanks I decided to replace him and there has been no problems with the players, even the ex-captain Personaly I prefer the captain to be someone who is playing reguarly and influencing the team on the pitch.
