Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 I started a save purely to holiday through a season to see something (which isn't relevant to this thread), and in doing so i took over Forfar Athletic - for no particular reason. I played one game with the team before holidaying, in which i used an unusual formation, noted in the game as 5-1-0-2-2: When i stopped holidaying i'd noticed the team were doing very well. I then noticed that the Assistant Manager had been using the 5-1-0-2-2 formation for the matches. I then noticed that the Assistant Manager had adopted this formation as his Preferred Formation: Correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought the Assistant would use his own (original) Preferred Formation when left to take control of games? And if he doesn't, this begs the question, what does the Assistant Manager change when he takes control of games? Does he just select the lineup and make decisions during the game?
