Unable to change team names?

Basically, I want to change all the name of the teams to their simple format. For example, I would change 'Olympique de Marseille' to just 'Marseille', etc. Anyway, I was doing this until I got to the German leagues and I came across a problem. Changing the team's names were fine, until I got to changing the names of their reserve teams that play in the German Third Division for whatever. For instance, when I changed Bayern Munich's name for 'FC Bayern Munchen' to simply 'Bayern Munich', I never had any problems. But when I tried to change the name of their reserve team from 'FC Bayern Munchen II' to 'Bayern Munich II', it automatically when back to the original name? Why is this? And is there a way to get around it at all? Thanks for any help.

Those clubs have to have certain names so they are not editable like the normal clubs. You could probably recreate the Bayern Munich II team after changing the name of the parent club and I'd guess it would work.
