There is no league for reserves so I simply arrange friendlies for mine in order to keep some senior players in match fitness while they're not playing for the first team. Something weird has been happening to the last 5 reserve matches. What is weird is that none of the players that were selected to be available for reserves were actually being used in those 5 matches. As a result some of them have decreased match fitness. I don't understand why they were not used. This happened in only the last 5 reserve matches. Before that everything was working fine and the players that I've specified to be used in reserves, were actually used. Anyone know why this might be happening?
