AjaxNo1
I have been at Ajax for 7 seasons, winning the last 5 league titles. I have left them in great shape, they are 1 of 3 rich clubs in Europe (I had a transfer kitty of 50m), they have about 100m in the bank and no debt. They had world class facilities and a squad with an average age of 23 So I decided to see if I could get a smaller club to this level. So I left the club the day after I won my 5th title, then about 8 of my coaches decided to leave with me. Also I found I could declare interest in jobs when the manager was insecure, which meant I could get someone sacked within about 2 weeks of leaving. Now Im at AZ, I have fallen foul of the dutch leagues stupid euro playoff rules, so wont be in Europe but the challenge for AZ to become as big as Ajax starts now
finestmeat
Did you find that despite being a world class team your top players requested to leave to bigger clubs? As its the Dutch league? I would quite like to start a career with Ajax.
AjaxNo1
Yes they all left after a few seasons, but just keep the conveyor belt going. A few years in Holland and they do want a new challenge, plus there are alot of leagues, Germany, Italy, Spain, England that are bigger than Holland and poach your players, but as I poached them from Brazil and other places I cant complain
