Would you buy and then play V old players, and v young ones, just to get the records

I brought a 55 yr old player/assistant manager to the club, just for the purpose of playing him in my division until he scores, so that he bags the records in the division for oldest player to play, and oldest player to score.

Also looked for the youngest 15 yr old i could find who would play in tier 7, and brough him to the club, to do exactly the same at the opposite end of the scale.

Anyone else purposely bring v old/young players to their team just to purposely bag those records (possibly until kingdom come) ??

I've had a 51yr old player for Liverpool once. He was a player/coach with excellent fitness training and I thought I'd put him in the team once I won the league.....I love breaking records!

As long as they can help the team in anyway, shape, or form...I don't see why not. Breaking records is just an extra incentive.
