the game could not be saved - windows 7

I bought FM10 last week and when I was trying to save the game for the first time it appeared me this saving error "the game could not be saved".

I use windows 7 is it because of that? It doesn't make sense..

I was never able to play the game or save it before, because i just can't save it. I tryed in a different folder and with a different name, and nothing.

Can somebody help me? I bought the game I want to play it!

it could be down to lack of space on your hard drive. of course there are many possible reasons.

it is not that reason because i have plenty of space.

i just started the game, it is brand new. I don't know what can it be...

check that you can create a file, just a text file or something, in the directory that it saves the game in, to rule out a local permissions problem.

Andyfm5 I can't save any other file in that location. I'm surprised because I'm the only person using the laptop, how can I gain local permissions?

Did you check your laptop for virsus?

If you can't create a file in that directory it is definitely permission related - right click on the folder and add yourself to the permissions, if it is a share also give yourself permissions to the share

Running the program as an administrator should also work.
