scottmp
Hi I'm aberstwyth town in the welsh league and came 2nd in my first season. I am now being asked to register players for the qualifying rounds of the europa league, and haven't got 4 home grown players, not even in my youth squad. What can I do? goodyear
What's the definition of home grown by the club? I am kind of confused. Do they have to be brought directly from your academy not purchased/signed from others? Or they only need to be trained in your club for at least 3 years before they reach 24 years of age? Kyno
Go to the European competition (World > Europe > ...) you're concerned with, and click the "Rules" sub-tab and it will tell you.
Brian Shanahan
Trained at your club for 3 years to the age of 21 (will give you the cut off date at squad registraiton screen). There is aso a home-grown status screen in the squad>views tab, which will show you the current status and any future changes.
