Playing as R Mad. 1st Season came second in La Liga and knockedout in 1st knockout round of Champ Lg. 2nd season reached semi of Cham Lg but lost by one goal and 3rd in La Liga. Not very good results for R Mad, I know. But in a week in May, on wed lost champs Lg semis, fri board offered me a new two year contract which I accepted, on sat drew 1-1 with a mid table team, on Sun the board tells me they are about to fire me as the draw was the last straw. I am now in the list of insecure jobs. Now I completely understand why they want to fire me as I am doing hopless but why give me a two year contract two days ago? slipknot67 Posted November 14, 2009 Share Posted November 14, 2009 I had a similar thing happen on FM09, got a new contract just before the last game of the season with us 2 points clear, played the last game, lost it and the league...result, sacked before the ink had time to dry!
