Wiitastic
Ok here's the story. I installed it via the dvd, couldn't be bothered to install via steam and register. I then this morning registered it via steam so I can get that unlock achievements thingy. Now I have 2 versions of fm10 on my computer, 1 in the normal sports interactive directory & the other in the steam directory. Do I need to keep both or can I delete the sports interactive directory ? and if I do delete, will it affect my game ? When I registered FM10 on steam, it downloaded fm10 obviously

Wiitastic
I dont want to install any if there is any chance it will bugger anything up. I'd rather have the computer running 2% slower than deleting 1 of them and stuffing it up
shrekiejai
Well it won't run any slower since only one of them is active? Just ignore the other one, it'll just eat a gb of harddisk but shouldn't have any other harm.
si_mats
Backup your steam version (right click on game in Steam, "Backup game files..."). Uninstall your first (DVD) install and put the disk somewhere safe. You can now play FM without inserting the DVD, and you have a backup on your PC in case anything goes wrong.
