Football manager on notebook

I am defiantly not an expert but I dont think a Netbook is suitable for you to fully enjoy FM or for the game to run at its full potential.

But of course you can use Steam as a disc-less version of the game rather then using an external disc drive so actually installing the game shouldnt be a problem. Playing it on the other hand may prove a bit difficult on a low spec machine.

If your notebook supports the minimum resolution (my EeePC does by scrolling the screen!) then it'll wor out okay. Don't load too much, don't expect a lot, and it'll be fine.

It'd be awful as your main FM machine, but for the odd FM fix on the train it's okay.

edit: Steam4thewin when it comes to netbooks and FM.

How did you manage to get FM to work on your EEE?

On mine the game only runs in background, never gets to main menu or even crashes..
