sydfc4ever
I am trying to make sense of the world rankings. Currently I’m the manager of the Italian national team, in my 2 ½ years in charge I have won the Euro and Confederations Cup, plus I’ve only ever lost twice (once in a friendly against Denmark where I played almost an entire team on debut, and the other was the final Euro qualifier against Croatia and we had 2 players sent off so lost 3-2 in injury time). Yet even with such a great record I have only peaked as far as number 2 in the world. In fact, within 2 months of winning Euro I dropped to number 4 behind Argentina (current world champs, so not complaining too much), Brazil, and Spain. A year or so later & just before the Confederation Cup I fell all the way out to 6, only by winning the Confed Cup did I move to 4, Spain, moved from 3 to 2 for loosing!! I just don’t get why Spain is constantly above me, I beat them in the finals of both comps so far, and they have already dropped a game in WC qualifiers. I’m playing FM08 if that helps. Thanks. drogba
The world rankings are based on a period of 6 years if I believe rightly so I guess you'll just have to bide your time if that helps.
BenArsenal
The FIFA World Rankings are ***** anyway. It's all a complicated ranking process of the teams you beat and in what competition.
