Advie on fm09

Hi all - I recently broke my foot ( jumping up celebrating man utds 3rd goal against arsenal lol ) and am off work for the next eight weeks.

I had all but given up on fm09 due to the numerous bugs experienced ( freezing, results changing such as a 12-11 penalty shootout win would just record as a 0-2 defeat lol .

However as a regular reader on these forums I am getting the impression that the game is now "smoothed over" with the latest patch and im feeling i might be ready for one last crack at it - especially as EA have really naffed me off with Fifa Manager.

So im wondering am i likely to get a week into the game and then get hit by game changing bugs or will it definately be worth it.

i'd say the fact that you're here means youve already decided that you're going to go back to it, you just havnt realised it yet.

But yes, its a must have, all is fine (obv theres going to be bugs, even 08 and 07 etc had bugs, but not enough to quit)

fifa manager dont even come close to football manager even with all the bugs!!!

You got 9.3 patch yet?

Make sure you do as it improves the game from previous patches.

Maybe choose a easier team to start off with, one with more quality so you dont get so annoyed at simple bugs. From here you can get more in to the rhythm of another side.
