samwilzrhcp
Just installed Football manager onto a new laptop (not using steam) and i cant seem to work out how to create a desktop shortcut. Also the fm files arent in the program files on the start up screen. Also i downloaded the latest patch and when its updating it stops halfway through and says something about file sharing. Any suggestions??

peter-evo
I presume you are on Vista. Go to: start -> games and you will see the Football Manager 2009 shortcut. Copy that and then paste it onto your desktop and voila.
