Can somebody please help?

Hi all,

I recently uninstalled and reinstalled the game after having a few problems. Now everytime I try to start a game and save it, a message pops up saying this game could not be saved. the problem is that it saves but creates a backup file each and every time it saves which is annoying because by the end of a heavy FM session, I have about 20 files all relating to one game.

Can somebody please help me solve this issue?

Either delete all the previous saves except the last 2 or 3 in Documents, Sports Interactive, FM2009, Games or go into the game and go to preferences and set the saving option to the rolling 3 game autosave which will only keep the last 3 saves
