Stemlfc65
I was sceptical on whether to post this but after seeing my Liverpool side beat 1 - 0 at Anfield by Birmingham, I need some tips. What do you say to motivate your players against lesser teams? My last premiership game was Hull away and Fernando Torres scored in the 77th minute after a very very poor performance. Daniel Cousin managed to pull one back for them in the 93rd minute. A few words were said, naughty words. In Spanish though as my family don't speak Spanish I seem to have a massive problem getting my players to perform both home and away against the 'lesser' teams. Any tips? IlikeJellybeans
At half-time never say, "don't get complecent" i always lose if i say that
King Costly
Don't do a team talk before the match,at HT if you're winning either don't bother with team talk or say 'don't get complacent/don't expect your performance to drop.'. If you're drawing say 'you can win tonight!' and if you're losing say 'I want to see more from you!'. It's worked for me and i'm 11th in the Prem with Birmingham and I got promoted this season. Neilio
I always wish luck (pre-match) and encourage (if satisfactory at HT)......... If losing at HT and I have the players respect - 'We must get a win, no excuses'
