Hey there

I have a striker with great attributes but when he is in front of the goal he wastes his chances by trying to go around the GK or placing the ball. Even though he had a great first season (20 goals as a substitute, most of them scored in league cup games and Champions League), I need him to start scoring so he can be a first team regular.

I've asked him to change his style but he doesn't think he would benefit from those changes.

I don't know if he will try to change or if his word is final.

If anyone knows something about this please help me!

If he's stubborn about tutoring or PPMs there's not much you can do, although try pairing him with a player he admires/idolises if he plays the same position. Sounds like he's young with low mental attributes - these are key for his decision-making. Work on improving those through training, although mostly they develop as a result of maturity - i.e. give him time.
