alimac Posted April 27, 2009 Share Posted April 27, 2009 Just wondered your thoughts on using targetman instructions. I like to build my team around a 4 4 2 formation with 2 fast wingers getting to the byline and putting lots of crosses in. I also like to have 1 of my strikers as a big powerful unit to get on the end of them. Logically I tell my team to use lots of width and focus passing down the wings. I thought about also instructing them to "Use Targetman" as a guide as to who to aim for in the box. If I also tick the "Use Targetman" box will this be a conflicting tactic? I just thought that my team may be confused whether to pass it out to the wingers or play it straight up to the targetman. Hope this makes sense!
